Welcome to Kay’s Tiny House Adventures!

Hi, my name is Kay, and I’m building a tiny house.

To no one’s surprise, building a tiny house takes a lot of work. It’s also a pretty big life change. Because of that, I thought I’d document my experiences (aka adventures) to share what I learn and more easily keep friends and family up-to-date.

I am by no means an expert house builder. Luckily, I have some very handy friends, who you will see pop up in this blog and videos. I started a YouTube channel (Kay’s Tiny House Adventures) that you should also check out if you’re more into watching the updates versus reading. I will share how I build the tiny house. It’s a fascinating process just designing and planning it, and I know I will learn a lot in making those plans a reality. I will also share how I prepare the land where I will park the tiny house on. There’s a lot that goes into downsizing, so there will also be posts and videos around decluttering, minimalism, and fun stuff like that.

Oh, and I also have this Corgi named Taco. She’s a firecracker. She’ll show up a lot, too. 🙂
