About Me

My name is Kay. I live in central Texas and own a Corgi named Taco. She’s a firecracker. Lately, I’ve been inspired to trade in my 1,600 sq. ft. three bedroom, two bathroom home for a ~300 sq. ft. tiny house. And also, I’d like to build it myself. No big deal. Luckily, I have some super handy friends. There’s a lot that goes into building a house, even if it’s a tiny one. I decided to document these adventures as I learn new skills and what it means to “go tiny.”
